The kit I bought was basicly two metal plates to block off the holes in the front of the cylinder head, and a few hoses. If a fellow could figure out how to reroute the hoses, you could easily fab the plates needed to block off the cylinder head.A fully uncorked 650R has to be experienced to be believed. Even then you still grin like an idiot. Like xrr-kat and motopsycho suggest, side vents add a nice extra hit and if you take your time on the mod-job, it looks soooo sweet. The 650R is the odd man out of this equation. There are minor differences between the 650L and the 600R (aside from the kick start), but both are RFVC motors. To add to this list, the NX650 (much like the L, with a different 2nd gear ratio and a sweet dual muffler setup) and the XL600R (RFVC with dual sequential carbs).The plugs all look decent so the jetting doesn't look like it is too far off. With my 15/48 gearing, a 130/90-18 tire, and a redline of 7300 RPM top speed in 5th gear should be 109 MPH.
