The Metropolitan Museum of Art presents over 5,000 years of art from around the world for everyone to experience and enjoy. The museum lives in two iconic sites in New York City - The Met Fifth Avenue and The Met Cloisters, located in Northern Manhattan. IDNYC cardholders, ages 18 and older, are eligible for a free one-year Membership at the Met.Guided Tour Volunteer. Introduce school students (grades K–12) or adult visitors to The Met collection. Select and research artworks and engage visitors in one-hour tours as well as brief, informal gallery chats with the goal of making art relevant, meaningful, and inspiring. Lead tours in English or one of ten other languages. General Admission Tickets. $30 for adults; $22 for seniors; $17 for students. Free for Members, Patrons, children under 12, and a caregiver accompanying a visitor with a disability.
