Ran camshaft relearn via ISTA. Ran valvetronic run-in via ISTA. Still in limp mode at this point. Replaced upper charge pipe (connects to the throttle body) Replaced MAP sensor connected to the upper charge pipe. Only after the upper charge pipe and MAP sensor replacement did my P052B code go away. Use a small flathead screwdriver, lever tab up to release then pull connector out of sensor. Remove camshaft position sensor E8 fastener. (green arrow) Do not reuse this fastener. Throw it away once removed and replace with a new one. Here is the order of events: I get the engine light intermittently. Then the P13C0 comes on and I change the VANOS solenoids, both.
