It cuts power to the thermostats and focuses 100% on the water. The idea is that the tank will reheat before you even notice the heat has gone out. I'm wondering if Nest has a way to bypass this message. I get that there is no power to the Rh wire. I just want to still see what the temperature is at the thermostat.
