Apr 16, 2009 · The transmission is a whole other issue. Someone in the UK put a 5.0 M119 into a 190e, I think it was a year in the making or so. Other than that...I don't know of any M119's in a 190e. It doesn't exactly fit. The limitations come from things like the transmission bearings; too much input power or input speed causes them to sublimate. The 404 was intended to go everywhere, not everywhere quickly. With a low compression & low output engine it wasn't intended to be a hotrod.
