Ltz400 oil capacity
Feb 1, 2004 · Ya it's kinda screwy. After an oil and filter change,I run it, let it sit a couple minutes then check it. I use 2.5 quarts and screw the dip-stick all the way in. This has given me the best results. The manual says about 2.2 quarts and to check with the dip-stick out, not screwed in. Buying billy-badass Amsoil and waiting 50 hours between changes because it costs so much is not the way to go. My cheap stuff barely changes color.
