Two things I highly recommend doing: -Drawing as straight of a line as you can draw parallel to the long edge of the board about 3" from that edge for the whole length of the board. Most all old fabric covered airplanes use this technique. My understanding is that some guys that have built Legal Eagles have glued the fabric directly to the wood rib surface, no tape involved.
