John Deere 6300. JD 6300 in tank pump only runs when switch is under spring pressure when almost fully in the start position - just before and maybe during full start cycle. I can't tell for sure if pump is running when starter has engaged because I can't hear the pump while starter is turning.Another potential cause of ECM problems in John Deere X300s can be related to its wiring or connections. Make sure the wires are not broken. If you find any corroded connection or damaged wire, replace it. Other than this, make sure also to check if the ECM software is up to date or not.
