Usually they don't bother non-natives as they are the ones they wish to inflict harm to. Unless you're doing a personal harm to them they won't bother you.This is a long one though so bare with me. Skinwalkers are usually in a "Coven" (a group of witches) that include other skinwalkers. In order for a person to become a skinwalker they must commit a crime. Not like robber, more like murder and cannibalism of a loved one. Or manipulating, blackmailing, and seducing someone close to you.
