I have a 2008 2.2 CDTI..had same problem ,except squeaked with every press and release..lived with it for a long time...finally after looking at forums and speaking to Honda dealer,went for the recommended solution..new clutch master cylinder ( £200 - £300 forgot exact price) It was done 15mths ago and never squeaked once..worth doing. When the car is in gear and I'm not moving the steering wheel (idle such as at stop light or a drive through) my car makes a squeaking noise if I turn the wheel it goes away but then it comes back.
