A 2 stroke motor on one cylinder would feel normal for an inexperienced operator.

I still have a Gamefisher/Tanaka 3HP and it's a good little motor. I'm guessing that Tanaka made the entire line for Gamefisher, but my 3HP is for sure a Tanaka.
