Even with modification the linkages are shorter and therefore closer to the front tire and it is difficult to get the sweeps into the ground any appreciable amount. Been there, done that... That tractor will run 540-550 pto rpm's at full throttle all day long. (assuming you haven't tweaked the governor up). All tractors (at least north american ones) with the 1-3/8 6 spline pto will turn approximatley 540 rpm. There are 2 problems trying to put it (either one) on an A. The Super A uses the quick-attach drawbar system and the A does not.
