I'm 95% sure I'm going to buy/build a Sage EBR. I'm leaning toward using a Springfield Scout since it has the 18" barrel. It seems like a good compromise in the areas of handling and velocity. However, for about the same price I can get a "Loaded" M1A 22" barrel with national match barrel and trigger assembly.Ive been looking for my first 308 semiauto rifle and I really like the m1a/ebr and would assume a standard, long barreled M1a would be most ideal for precision but would love to hear any input you might have! I wouldn't be opposed to running the shorter barrel on the socom either if it'll benefit me! Thanks man!!
