The improved bench is literally just an improved version of the basic bench. It provides +50% crafting speed and -25% material cost. The garrison bench is one of the two grandmaster tier benches. The Garrison Armorer's Bench requires 1/2 of the materials (rounded down) to produce the same crafting recipes as other Armorer's Benches.
