The various size chokes constrict the barrel thus tightening the spread of the shot. Thus, the thicker the choke, the further and tighter the shot will travel.

One has 3 and the other 4 I think it is. The guy I got it from said it was an IC and Mod. The only stampings under the barrels I can see that might indicate choke are, **- on the right barrel & ** on the left. Those are the choke markings.
