The Hill Country Flyer is our most popular route, serving as our signature ride since making it’s first run on July 25, 1992. The Hill Country Flyer departs from our Cedar Park Depot most Saturdays January- May and September- November. This route is our longest at 66 miles round-trip, normally departing at 9:00am and returning at 3:30pm.Austin Steam Train Association. Our office is open to the public Wednesday- Friday from 10am-4pm. We will close from 12-1 for lunch. We also open one-hour prior to each train departure.
