DOVE-C Heads for Sale. I have a pair of DOVE-C heads that were on a '71 Lincoln 460. I went with Edelbrock heads so I no longer need the iron heads. They have screw in rocker studs and were "redone" just before I bought the car. The paperwork indicate that 8 new valves, 16 new seats, 16 new guides were installed.

Ported d0ve heads - gain of 65hp vs unported, or gain of 30hp vs unported SCJ heads. The porting they did on the base heads looks a lot like Paul Kane's photos above. (Good info on Paul's website BTW). The other are the doves with 2.25-1.75 ss valves. All with new valve jobs. The doves are fully ported to 2.5 x 2.20 ports. My build is for a jet daycruiser. What im trying to determine if the doves will be too much for a mild build 460. I want to stay at 9.5 compression for the use of pump gas.

C9VE and D0VE heads are so damn identical that you can run a C9VE on one cylinder bank and a D0VE on the other cylinder bank and your engine won't know the difference.
